Pros

Location. At least there is a pretty view of the lake to look at from time to time. The Glassdoor ratings just shot from 3.2 to 3.7. in a span of 3 weeks. I wonder if things are really better or the talent acquisition team is just trying to clean up glassdoor to lure in unsuspecting job candidates.

Cons

Cofounders are polar opposites. One is engaging and respectful, the other is not. I'll let you figure out which one is which based on all the reviews. Micromanage much? False promises. High turnover.

Depressing place to work, poor leadership

Pros

There are still some good, smart people here who haven't left yet Free lunch on Fridays

Cons

The office feels like a call center. Hitting monthly sales targets seems to be the only thing that leadership cares about. If you're looking for a place where you can grow your career, look somewhere else because there is very little focus here on career growth or employee satisfaction. BrightEdge treats most employees as disposable, and a huge number of people have left in recent months, including many team leaders. Most people still working here are actively looking for new jobs. No flexibility to work remotely. Office hours are strictly enforced. Quotas are out of reach in order to limit commission and bonus payouts. Leadership is extremely top-down and micromanage like crazy..
