Pros

I bring value to customers everyday Product is solid. Has some quirks. Going through growing pains. But good product. Business model works when you have a customer who is a good fit for BrightEdge Remote if not in CLE, CHI, or NYC

Cons

Sell the product to companies who don’t know how to use it. You have to teach them the very basics of SEO and how to use BrightEdge. Sales will sell the dream, and the burden is on the CSM to make it happen for them or crumble the expectations they were sold. No 401k match Very little support or training on SEO. Large account loads. You will work late and it won’t be infrequent. Favoritism from management. Forced RTO for employees in office locations. Causing people to quit and the workload is shifted to the remaining CSMs. The more accounts you have does not result in more money made, due to comp plan changes.

Pros

Salary is On time Good Colleagues They Push you beyond your limits.

Cons

Micromanagement, gaslighting, they use fear to get work out of you. To develop fear they will say they fired people who willingly resigned also. You would be asked to work on holidays too and even if you work they have no appreciation

Pros

- other SDRs/ AEs - overtime pay (time and a half) - the experience is priceless. You’ll become the best cold-caller and a seasoned salesperson who will thrive at any other company.

Cons

- micro management. When you “work from home” you will be on a zoom call 24/7 with your manager and your team. - this is not an 8-5 job. you are required to work overtime. - 3 check in meetings a day. The first one begins at 8am sharp and last one is at 5pm or later. - Pressure to perform against other reps who are working around the clock to be successful. If you want to thrive here you need to prioritize this job over everything in your life- your manager will tell you this themselves.
