Pros
I have never been more impressed by the company than during the pandemic. BrightEdge's leadership was quick to pivot to a WFH scenario for all employees and has continued to pursue that course despite some companies trying to get back to the office. I'm very happy the company continues to monitor the state of the pandemic and has made it very clear that employees will not be expected to return to the office until it is safe to do so. BrightEdge has also been able to keep the workforce at full capacity despite so many tech companies (competitors included) doing furloughs and layoffs. Job security has never been more important, and it's been made clear that those who are performing are secure (just as in "normal" times). Overall, I couldn't more thankful to be working for a company that has handled these unprecedented times so well. All of this combined with some of the most powerful SEO technology in the marketplace makes for a great combination.
Cons
Work life balance can be a challenge for those who are not efficient with time management. Expectations are high, but sales is a demanding field. If you aren't willing to work hard or expect things to "come to you," BrightEdge is not the right fit for you.
