      Pros

      You know the reviews are fake when 5 star reviews appear right after 1 star. Be aware. The company is okay, the pay is fair. Work from home benefirs

      Cons

      No work life balance, and management says that is classified under working hard. Micromanaging happens at every level. Bonuses are hard to obtain even though you hit your goals, evaluation always have excuses so they try not to pay.

      Pros

      cross-functional teams which allows for ownership, flexibility, and a learning environment. Steady revenue, the oldest SEO company with global clients and established market presence. Fully remote positions. Very professional atmosphere, everyone remote, thus little office drama.

      Cons

      intensely focused >only< on "what moves the needle" which results in a swiss cheese kind of product and company culture: some parts are well developed some are hanging by a thread. They run very lean and are constantly short-staffed. Because it's an old startup it has glacial speed in terms of modernizing and keeping up with the tech trends. Heavily top-down from CEO so much so that all-hands meetings (1/mo) are almost entirely read updates by the leadership with cameras and mics turned off for everyone else (gives me 1984 vibes every time). Sense of isolation ensues, you won't meet (or see) anyone else beyond your immediate team.
