You will get really good at cold calling and understanding sales. You will make decent money out of college.

Cons

Depending on what office you’re in you’ll be micromanaged. A lot of these managers have given up their lives for this. Unrealistic promotion path… they will act like everyone makes it to AE. Truth is, you’re a number to them and they hope they get 5 AE’s per year out of the 60+ SDRs that come in and leave every summer. Work and sleep will be the only two things you do. Be ready for politics and unrealistic quotas. More money to be made with less hours at other tech roles but not a bad start.
