Pros

There have been no pros of working at Brightside.

Cons

I have been paid incorrectly for two consecutive months. When I brought this to their attention after the first month, I was told to inform the payroll department of the mistakes. If Payroll finds any errors, you then have to wait until the following month to be paid. The overall communication at Brightside is poor. After three weeks they invite you to schedule a Zoom meeting with your clinical lead and HR if you have any questions or issues to discuss. They responded to my request with Payroll and my clinical after ten days, but did not offer a Zoom meeting. Incredibly HR sent me an email saying that my concerns were resolved. I would advise to stay away from Brightside.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. While we're glad to hear that the workload felt manageable, we're disappointed to hear that you weren't excited or challenged by it. We hear your feedback around community and transparency. These are important to us, - even as a remote first company - and we’re continuing to invest in building a stronger sense of connection as we grow. Wishing you all the best moving forward.

Pros

The people are very nice and the benefits are great. The product is important and they take privacy and security seriously.

Cons

Leadership is more focused on doing more and bigger things than fixing the things that don't work well or are unnecessarily tedious. Also, lots of restructuring, hiring and letting people go, and changing of roles, so you never know who is in charge of what or where your request ended up.
