Stable for now, growing, loots of opportunities.

Cons

No established career development opportunities. (To clarify, they do have ways to help you grow as an individual, but they do not have programs for advancement within your career, it's all at the discretion of your direct supervisor)

Pay is very fair. Provides tools & equipment to get the job done right. Plans in place to continually expand and improve infrastructure.

Pros

Gen X'er here and I have to say that Brightspeed is one of the best places I've ever worked. I have experience with Fortune 50 companies and small-medium businesses, but this is my first time at a start-up. Love the direction of the company and where we're going. Here's what I love: --flexible work environment...hybrid, office, or remote. --Inclusive environment --local community focus --shared values like people matter, thinking like customers, and transparency, celebrating success, deliver on big ideas, and more. --opportunities to learn and grow --Management is very accessible and approachable. Above all, I love the people. Our teams are close-knit, dedicated, and all want the same thing...fast connectivity no matter where you live.

Cons

I think the company needs to take more risks and better convey how we're a different provider. Marketplace tactics have been a little on the conservative side. Would like to see more creative strategies, tactics and out-of-the-box thinking. But we've only been in business a year, so I'm sure this will happen.
