Pros

Great company to work for, flex time off, a lot of opportunity to work from home.

Cons

This Company will be sold in the next 3 to 5 years. So long term employment may not be guaranteed.

Pros

-Good benefits -Overall direction seems to be Great -The new products are actually awesome -Fantastic local team -Pay for the area is definitely not the worst. -Local culture is awesome from most people. It's very supportive and most people are willing to teach and learn.

Cons

-Old heads are VERY adverse to change and a lot of them are so negative it's crazy. -If you're scared of work and overtime, this place isn't for you. This is a business that doesn't stop. Everyone wants service 24/7, and it's important to know that before you begin. If you've got a good supervisor, they will work with you, but sometimes you just have to work the OT, or the crappy schedule. It is what it is. -Sometimes there are just too many captains and not enough sailors. If we are going to make procedure changes, at least let local management have some flexibility to modify as they see fit -Some work groups are seriously understaffed. Brightspeed seems to currently be figuring out exactly how many people they actually need in certain positions, but man would I just like that to be a truth they tell us instead of leaving us to assume. -Previous companies that ran the plant flat out sucked, and it's hard to work through that stigma on a employee to customer level. Not everyone is a fan because of the way past companies treated them. -I catch myself on occasion wondering if upper management really knows what I or my coworkers do every day to fix problems, complete work, etc.
