Pros

The Benefits package was amazing. Holidays, Days off, Retirement, and especially Insurance were great. Low stress level. Good communication. Organized.

Cons

Though the requirements for promotion were clearly defined, I found the requirements for being promoted to be somewhat difficult. I would be easier for an outsider to apply for the higher position, or for me to apply to the equivalent higher position at another bank.

Pros

Family Culture The people who started are been with Broadway for a long time seems to stay and enjoy their time with the company. They encourage community outings and family bonding time.

Cons

Upper management does not listen in value the people working beneath them. It’s hard to implement change when they believe things do not need to be fixed.

Our leaders work hard to make sure our employees feel valued, seen and heard while working together to serve our customers and communities. We also pride ourselves on being driven by innovation by understanding the importance of finding creative solutions and leveraging technology to improve our services and operations. If there is an opportunity to change a process at the bank, we empower our bankers to collaborate with their teams and discuss. We would appreciate the opportunity to connect directly. We value the input of each and every employee and we thank you for sharing your feedback. Our goal is to grow and learn from every review we receive. Broadway Bank is proud to offer competitive benefits, career development resources, employee recognition events throughout the year and health and well-being initiatives that make Broadway Bank stand out as a top employer in San Antonio, Austin and the Texas Hill Country. While some roles require employees to be at various financial centers, we continue to encourage managers to remain flexible and find what works best for individual employees and their teams. Our annual performance process is set up to facilitate conversations between the employee and their manager about career growth and the skills and training needed to advance at Broadway. Broadway Bank leadership teams continue to engage in open and honest conversations when it comes to work-life balance and career development. Our HR team is available for all employees to help with those discussions and to offer guidance on career development. Thank you again for taking time to share your feedback with us.
