Pros

-Consistently takes employee feedback -Yearly raises -Decent insurance. Healthcare, Dental and Vision. Extra options to enroll in like Short Term Disability buy up. -Consistently safety focused and looking to improve without punishing mistakes

Cons

-401 (k) match is poor, still 3% and very outdated -They recently took the new Michigan law that required employers to offer 72 hours of sick time a year and Bronson took this from our PTO rather than give us additional sick hours!!!! So we were penalized for something that was supposed to be helpful. (aka less vacation time now--will now be forced to call in unless your manager lets you use sick time for vacation) -Battle Creek specifically suffers from turnover in almost every area -Inflation has gone up, but they never increase their spending budgets for departments accordingly. -Pay could be higher in general. It's not high for the area, but not low either. Their weekend pay incentive is lacking for the area. -They profit off employees in the cafeteria (no special discounts). Food is often overpriced.

Pros

Many professional staff members keep medical standard of care goals current. Resources are generally available.

Cons

Professionals work in isolation while support staff interact. Perhaps this trend began with COVID precautions. Open-ended electronic records interactions with patients' questions/concerns after hours is culturally accepted work behavior. Push to continually accept new patient time slots leaves little time to quickly meet existing patient appointment requests.
