Pros

Great salary, bonus, benefits, and investment in employee development and training. Management is implementing many changes that will bring the company up to date as an industry leader. Have seen many employees get promoted recently which is encouraging.

Cons

Some employees are not willing to embrace change. They want to do things a certain way because that is always how things have been done in the past. Upper management is very homogeneous. Need more women and diversity in leadership positions.

Oversight and Ethics

Pros

In general, people are friendly and the company is supportive of changes, including very generous in investing in IT systems.

Cons

Not enough oversight from management, as the Board Directors are all internal members and have been in there for years. No change and very little actions. In addition, the Corporate Compliance Officer is one of the Ethic Committee members. There is clearly a conflict of interest.

Pros

Great Japanese company has been around for over a century. Great benefits and pay. Mostly nice helpful staff. Employees around the world. Much opportunity for growth. Big on the corporate culture.

Cons

The Field Merchandiser trainer is very rough around the edges.
