Pros

Brotherhood Mutual is an organization made of great people, yet that's about all it has.

Cons

If you push to hard to invoke change you will be told to stay in your lane. Change occurs in the company at a snails pace. Growth opportunities are present, but you have to fight for them. Compensation is about 50% of what it should be. The company seems to be more worried about the hours you are in the office more than the work you are able to get done, so remote work is frowned upon and rarely granted. Lack of project management. No one seems to have a real understanding of overall architecture in IT.

Pros

No pressure. work at your own pace. Good place to work until you retire - if you're not ambitious and are just looking for a paycheck.

Cons

Overly conservatiive in everything! No clear path for career development. No opportunities for growth. Favoritism among management. Too slow to adopt and innovate. Talent and knowledge is greatly under-utilized because of company's conservative culture Radical ideas are DOA Latest industry and business practices are non-existent. Lack of workforce diversity (racial). Women make up majority of BMIC employees esp. in low paying jobs but not in management. Pay not as great.
