Pros

There are a lot of good people who still work here. Flexible work hours. Social committee to plan events. The work is interesting and unique.

Cons

Outsourcing....There is really no one left in the engineering group. Everything is being shipped off to India. There is no current plan for handling any of the remaining work. They let too many people go too quickly without fully evaluating the situation. Upper level management has no transparency so its hard to know whats going on with the company outside of rumors that you piece together from different departments. Its a shame too, because there were a lot of neat products with a diverse range of customers. Lots of unused potential here.

Pros

Medical Benefits . Xmas closure . Co workers. Weekends off. The receptionist in lobby is always helpful to employees.plenty of space to work . Only 80 out of 325 employees in building. Employees are friendly.. that is pretty much it . No perks. No parties . You work like a robot . VP upstairs makes money doing absolutley zero !!!

Cons

Very very depressing sad place to work. Morale you can cut with knife. The building is a ghost town. More then 200 People have left in 2 years including myself . Feels great to resign. I felt poison and toxins im my body from my boss in san jose. A horrible person . Everyone is surprised she is still there .. get rid of all managers . RETENTION IS A HUGE ISSUE!! There is not a Human Resources at the Goleta office . Employees need a human to talk to . Im so happy I have resigned and will never look back . Bruker has a bad rap .. employees have left to work for competitors. Employees stay and fire all upper and low management .

Pros

Can-do engineering, mfg, and service groups. Great technology, with best-in-class products.

Cons

Completely delusional senior management - they directed engineering and research on what products to develop, then blamed them when the products (that met all specs) didn't hit market needs. HR is a joke...only think of employees as 'cost centers' and have a goal to eliminate them. No training programs. No advancement. Spent $5/person on Christmas party in 2015 and were proud 'to help contain costs' while management enjoys $200 bottles of wine at 5 star restaurants during the overly frequent 'strategy' or 'sales training' or 'apps training' or 'planning' or 'review' meetings. The only HR person who was am employee advocate was fired! Programs are scheduled too aggressively, understaffed, and marketing group doesn't understand the markets (none over 2 years experience) and thus continually fail. Don't work here!
