Pros

No pros for working at Bruker.

Cons

Middle management is incompetent, upper management does not care about the employees. Work on top of Work, expectations are unrealistic, limited direction, no training; working in “crisis mode”, no incentives, no bonuses unless you are management, broken processes, no procedures, an SAP system that continues to breakdown...I could go on and on.

Pros

There are no pros that I can think of.

Cons

No leadership, no plan, no career path for employees outside of Europe where all decisions are made. Lots of politics, infighting and poor morale - not to mention the pay is below industry standard. Good people eventually give up and leave, poor performers/lousy colleagues stay forever because management ignores the problems, and in some cases encourage it. The company will never improve unless there is a complete overhaul in upper management, and that won't happen because they have jobs-for-life in Europe. The culture is just toxic.

Pros

The company has an impressive portfolio of high tech gizmos. I worked there in an engineering job and have no clear idea what specifically they were making. I saw plenty of different machines but I have no idea the entire portfolio.

Cons

Bruker is probably the worst company I've ever worked for. It was hiring new employees in while senior management was planning to outsource the division. 60 people were laid off some had only worked there for a few weeks/months and left reliable jobs. They guard information like the Stasi. There is no communication between departments/divisions to prevent horrible morale from spreading like a disease.
