Good people in a rapidly changing environment

Pros

There was a lot of challenging work to deliver and new skills to learn. This is exciting for those who are able to withstand a lot of organizational and product churn as the company repositions itself.

Cons

Very easy to burn out in this environment. Work-life balance is not valued here, but then again, you are ultimately responsible for your own balance.

Pros

This is an exciting time for Bsquare. We are experiencing a lot of growth. Amazing team of super smart, collaborative coworkers. Free soda/coffee, fruit, catered lunches, great benefits, free parking.

Cons

It isn't so much a con, but the company is going through a cultural change. I personally feel this is a positive, and for the better all the around. That being said, as with any change, there will be some bumps along the way.

Pros

I worked at Bsquare for over 9 years and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. There are all sorts of personalities and styles through the company but what unites everyone is the desire to implement embedded & IoT technologies. If you're interested at all in those areas you should give Bsquare a look. My favorite parts of working for Bsquare: 1. Great company culture and super intelligent workforce. 2. Nice giveaways like free Pop/Coffee and weekly fruit supply. 3. New technology everywhere always. 4. Serious stability with plenty of cash in the bank to weather even the worst of storms. 5. Exciting development in the products area with DataV.

Cons

I can't think of too many bad things to say about Bsquare. Like a lot of technology companies in the IoT space they're working hard on new initiatives to drive revenue and provide customers with better access to knowledge from their data. If you're not interested in an agile approach to new business areas and development this might not be the place for you. But if you like the stability of a medium sized company partnered with the excitement of new technology initiatives then Bsquare should be at the top of your list.
