Pros

Bsquare is doing cool things in the IoT space and it is reflected in the new projects on hand. There has bee aggressive investment lately and this attitude drives morale as the newer, growing teams can actually see how they are moving the needle.

Cons

Downtown Bellevue's traffic is bad because the city doesn't know how to manage flow patterns. When one light turns green, the next turns red which is annoying because you would think Bellevue would appreciate technology by now.

Pros

Lots of WinCE work, bringing up BSPs (Board Support Packages) and helping customers achieve their product goals. Good support from team members around the world.

Cons

I came in with fairly low expertise in WinCE but was billed out as a WinCE Expert. Made me feel like I had to put on airs for customers until I got my grounding in CE.

Pros

Other than great co-workers, not much.

Cons

Executive management hasn't a clue what it means to establish a corporate mission and strategy and an organizational plan to achieve it. Due to abhorrent Services/Sales executive management behavior, it is a TOXIC work environment. Classic passive aggressive behavior who is not open to collaborating within anyone. While an IT environment, it is ran like a military institution. Not interested in wanting to know how things are currently operating or how well. Not open to considering others points of view. Quick to point out your perceived failures. As such, decisions are short sighted and often not based on a practical reality.
