Pros

Positives are few and far between, however I was able to make some good friends.

Cons

- Unrealistic expectations for Stylists - Corporate plays favorites - Your employment is constantly in jeopardy based on how much you sell - Trained to borderline harass customers into buying product Overall this was the worst job Ive ever had and I truly thought I was going to stick it out until the "growing pains" went away. Safe to say that never happened.

out of touch

Pros

Clothing package and employee discount. Flexible hours (depending on location & management). Big on aesthetics (honestly, also a con).

Cons

- The higher ups within this brand are extremely out of touch. Example: at a job like this, employees should never be told "if you feel like you deserve x amount of pay--go find it" when surrounding neighborhood stores are actually paying livable wages compared to this company. Embarrassing and cold. It became a week of fear if any of the owners or district managers were in town. - Lack of work/life balance. Being in this company long term means adapting an "all or nothing" mentality. Coming in early. Staying late. Opening early. Closing late. Being expected to to drop your plans (even on scheduled off days off) in order to help other store locations out. -Lack of store care. New store locations are being opened left and right while previous standing stores are falling apart or just in need of a new location for growth. Lots of attention to shiny detail. I listened to all the new INSANELY expensive decor going into new store openings while my store location dealt with broken speakers, music system not working, broken wall hooks, lights not working, and even dealing with sharing one small room for ALL of the following: break room/stockroom/bathroom. -Clique environnent. If you don't drink the kool-aid...then you are left out and easily cast to the side. Lot's of childish energy higher up in the company. District Managers are more likely to ask your co-workers how you feel about the company instead of having a face to face touch base. -I can not stress enough how much of a boys club this company is. Very off putting environment to work in if you're not white or willing to play into gender roles. -So many designs and the overall aesthetic are replicants from other CA based brands.

Bad company

Pros

Free clothes. That’s literally the only good thing about this company

Cons

Didn’t have a manager for 3 months. Expect way to much for the pay they offer. Doesn’t have a break room (they use the bathroom as a break room) there is no room to grow, expect you to go above and beyond with no recognition what so ever. Managers are hit or miss. Transfers are a hot mess. You never receive what you need.
