Cons

cliques, no clear guidance, depends on who you know to move up, internal fighting, reminds you of high school.

Pros

We actually have it pretty good at Build.com. People just don't understand we are no longer in start up mode and that we are competing with the big dogs now. Everyone wants to hold onto what Build "use to be" under an immature leader. Leadership has been fairly transparent, at least my manager has been that as a business we are short of where we need to be. Why would a company reward its employees for being in the red? Plain and simple you want fun, you want perks, you want to be rewarded for doing a good job, then do a good job. Let's stop complaining and start selling!

Cons

Some managers have a clue, others do not
