Pros

Bullhorn really values their employees. From amazing and more than affordable benefits, to catering lunch and breakfast once a week, a day off for a team building Summer outing, and an unlimited PTO policy, this is the best team I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. Other benefits? Fantastic leadership and colleagues who support you. New 'Fun Friday' themes weekly to make coming to work fun and involve everyone.

Cons

The only thing I can point out is that as a Tier 1 analyst, your schedule could vary slightly each quarter. I, however, don't personally consider this a con as all schedules are within reason and it can be a welcome change if you're in a rut on a specific schedule.

We hear you! ;) Your schedule comment is interesting, and definitely something to bring up to the Ops team if you have suggestions on how to make this less of a con for those that may consider it one.

Pros

They talk about the culture a lot because it is such a vital aspect of the company and what truly makes it a great place to spend 40 hours a week. Some of the nicest and smartest people I've ever worked with.

Cons

Bullhorn is still a new-ish company and has been having some growing pains over the last few years. But it is still a fun, challenging and enjoyable place to work.

No career growth in development

Pros

Bullhorn used to be a fun place to work. The agile environment is good. We have daily standups and regular groomings. We also have retros.

Cons

There's no career growth. I've had 4 managers in a short amount of time and each time I think I'm making progress I get a new manager. Salaries are low and it's hard to get a raise

I'm shocked to hear you say there's no career growth in development. In the last 9 months, we have promoted over 20% of the team into new roles, provided countless opportunities to work on new technologies, and have evolved our tech lead and architecture career paths. If you're not satisfied with your career path, please come talk to me directly. I went from intern to CTO in 13 years, nobody is more passionate about helping high performers succeed than me Matt Fischer President & CTO
