Pros

Great people to work with. Fun environment.

Cons

Salaries are really low. Recruiters made it sound like they give out raises quickly, but they don't.

Your red ratings across the board tell me that there's more going on here than upset over your salary. If you are unhappy in general, and you have not seen the increases you were expecting, chances are there's a disconnect somewhere. I encourage you to have open dialogue with your manager about expectations- not just around salary, but the competencies it takes to be a high performer. HR is always an available resource, as well. We're happy to share how salaries are determined, and provide guidance on talking points with your manager.

Pros

Bullhorn embodies the quintessential Boston based tech company. The people are "wicked" smart and always pushing for innovation on the product. In addition to a killer product portfolio, Bullhorn is a true partner to the staffing industry. They understand that Bullhorn ATC/CRM allows for people all over the world to find meaningful work.

Cons

I was remote, which could be difficult, but we used many forms of collaborative communication like video chat which helped. Because I am an extrovert, I found this to be challenging but it's not a knock in any way against Bullhorn, just my own preference of work style.

Great insight on working remotely, especially as more of our workforce is collaborating across time zones. Your advice is spot-on, and duly noted! :)

Pros

Amazing first job after college. I made so many great friends; the culture is young, fun and positive. The purpose of the BDR role is to get qualified leads to Sales, and usually prospective customers are very receptive. Bullhorn is all about Being Human which makes this sales role one that someone can feel good about. Bullhorn ATS is well known in the staffing industry and people usually want to speak with you. Management trusts that you are following up promptly with leads, and don't use insane numbers to determine if you are succeeding. Low stress job that can lead you on a track in sales if you want it to.

Cons

The BDR program is still pretty young, so they don't have too much established which can be a little frustrating when you aren't too sure of a timeline if you are trying to get into a closing role.

It sounds like you had a incredible employee experience, which is what we aim for! As you note, the BDR program is evolving, and this type of feedback is very helpful. Wishing you all the best post-Bullhorn!
