Pros

Unlimited PTO, work when you want mentality, mostly great co workers and management.

Cons

Terribly low Pay, non transparent commission structure, promotion is solely political based, low tier sorority culture, no longer stands by company values, no product knowledge taught in onboarding, 0 development as a sales person as this is an appointment setter role, lack of a want to win attitude across sales, you get dumber reiterating our nonsensical sales process to prospects/customers 20 times a day.

Appreciate your feedback. We're always working to improve and over the last six months have addressed many of the issues you raised. We've made changes to our commission plan structure and pay, and we're improving our onboarding process with a focus on product knowledge and prospecting best practices. Many team members have become successful sales reps, and we're proud of the career pathing in place for our BDRs, as it's an excellent foundation to build a sales career. We're excited about the future and appreciate your feedback. - Jon Bedard, CMO

Lost Sight of Core Purpose - Response to Bullhorn

Pros

Remote work and unlimited PTO

Cons

I can't edit an existing review, so this is in response to the CEO's response on my February review. Unfortunately approaching anyone directly puts a target on a employee's back, in an environment where so many of us are already uncertain whether we'll still be here in a few months. But I would like to challenge a statement made in your response that "our Bullhorn sales compensation plans are designed to ensure that our sales team is very much focused on keeping customers happy and not just rewarded for selling new software". Without providing details, I can say that several of us are currently projected to earn about 50% less this year than last year. We are managing the same accounts and doing the same jobs as last year, but the only opportunity to reach last year's earnings is to bring in new revenue; where does this suggest the rewards are focused for your sales team?

As a current employee, I'm really interested in hearing what's going on and would love to be able to actually have a dialogue together. My conversations are all confidential - I can assure you I'm not the scary HR police that wants to get you in trouble. You know where to find me, let's chat. :) - Kelley Morse, CPO

Appreciate this great feedback! I could have written these myself! You're right, our agile, fast paced culture isn't for everyone, but when resonates with an employee, oh man, that's when the rewarding career fun & progression can really take place! Keep the real feedback coming - Kelley Morse, CPO
