Pros

The product itself is exciting to work on. Bullhorn is the clear market leader in staffing and recruitment software, and there’s a real sense of pride in building tools that make a difference for customers. The pace of innovation keeps things fresh and challenging. Strong leadership, great culture, exciting product, genuine flexibility and real growth opportunities.

Cons

The only one I can think of is the time zone difference with the US, which can occasionally mean later calls, but my team is mindful about keeping this to a minimum.

Appreciate it - and happy to see you're HAPPY. :) It's a great point on time zones, but it sounds like your team is really throughtful about it, which is exactly what we want! Keep the feedback coming, good, bad and constructive! - Kelley Morse, CPO

Pros

- Rewarding work. I'm energized most days via the work I get to do. - Delivering software technology & solutions I truly believe in. Makes my job much easier when I can truly believe in what we provide. As well, the future is incredibly bright with extremely thoughtful and visionary product roadmap. - Incredible culture. Both in stated core values and actual execution on those values from leadership down. - Fantastic people across the board. Really feel energy each day with the people I both directly work with along with people in other departments. Rarely do I ever get the feeling someone on the team doesn't care. - Strong compensation & benefits (great uncapped commission plans) in sales org. Also a lot of side perks to being successful in sales here - just had an incredible achievers trip in the Caribbean. - Unlimited PTO, which I would usually consider a negative with most companies but I'm encouraged to take it. And when I had a medical incident which took me out for a couple weeks twice in a year - no concerns were brought up. They just checked to make sure I was OK, took care of what needed to be taken care of, and ensured I was able to focus on healing. Like any company, your mileage may vary by manager, but I feel from leadership down - they really try to uphold to what Unlimited PTO is supposed to be. - Great flexibility in work and schedule. While work is busy of course, I have flexibility to move around important life things as well. Also since Covid, Bullhorn has really imbued a remote culture where it doesn't feel like you are at a disadvantage culturally because you work in a different city/country/etc. You can still benefit from offices in a couple cities, and especially in sales, they ensure to bring everyone together at specific times for bonding / connection moments - but you're never treated different if you are in office vs not.

Cons

- While it's gotten much better over the last couple of years, still needs a bit more cohesive strategy / direction among internal orgs. Sometimes feels like a tale of two companies between our platform offerings. I have faith that will be addressed over the next couple of years. - Speed and Agility is important here. While I personally think of this as a pro, for those that aren't used to a pace of change in processes, strategy, etc based on market trends/acquisitions/etc - it can be disorientating. If you are someone who is more nimble, move this to a pro as it keeps the work exciting. - Recently Bullhorn has had some new leaders put into place for some internal and external movement. While it may be bumpy for a little bit, these are incredible people that I feel very confident will take the next step and lead us on to better things.

This feedback is terrific. I've shared this with the exec team, because you bring up some really valid points, esp having two platforms. And because your title/location makes you fairly obvious, ;), I just want to say thank you. You're an incredibly gift to have on this team, and your contributions over the years have had massive impacts on our company's success. That you choose US and the company when I know you have unlimited career options is not lost on me. :) LETS GET AFTER IT!!! - Kelley

Pros

Most people are really nice at first but as time goes on it starts feeling heavily like wayfair.

Cons

most people are new. Told in my first 1 on 1 that I need to stay in my lane and stop closing out ticket so fast. Contractory info fromt he actual manager who told me he wanted me to learn how to do everything on the network and server side.

Hey - Sorry to see that your time here didn't leave you with a good taste in your mouth. I've asked my team to look into this just to understand a bit more of the context and so that we can coach the managers as necessary. While it didn't work out here, I wish you the best of luck in your future career moves. - Kelley Morse, CPO
