Let me know if you ever want to chat about career growth/opportunities. I'd be happy to sound board and bounce ideas around, as there are always different wants to continue to grow and progress, even if not upward, certainly broader. Pros

I honestly love it here and never want to work anywhere else. I will be here as long as I can be. - Great benefits - like all of them are great and they are continuously evaluating and adding more for their employees - Clear goals - Work / Life Flexibility and Balance - HR ( all the way up) cares but you have to give them an opportunity to - They want to see you succeed and provide opportunities for you to learn more

Cons

- Currently catching up on some major industry standards that should’ve been implemented sooner but better late than never. - Still trying to get a footing on change management and communication. - There could be more engagement being that it’s a remote first environment. - Some leaders were hired externally which isn’t bad but they could probably use some training on the product.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. It's definitely one of the most balanced and pragmatic reviews I've read about our support evolution. I love that you seem to understand the change, but also that you present the challenges and feedback as you do and more importantly, are excited about what we're doing. Myself and Support Leadership (Megan, Sarah, etc) would love to partner with you as we go forward together - how do we change/evolve at the pace we need to, but keep the teams energized as we go. Thank you, thank you, and let's go do this! - Kelley Morse, CPO.

Pros

Remote-First Environment Unlimited PTO Decent Healthcare Options 401k Options Collaborative Teams: Despite leadership challenges, many of the team members are supportive and collaborative, making day-to-day work enjoyable.

Cons

Bullhorn used to be a place where core values like collaboration, integrity, and employee support were at the forefront. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Leadership now openly dismisses feedback, with some leaders (COO & CPO) telling employees who express concerns that they can "find somewhere else to work." This approach creates a toxic environment where feedback is not welcomed, and employees feel unsupported. Leadership and HR are fully aware of these issues, yet they continue to justify them in their responses to negative Glassdoor reviews, which is disappointing. They promote an open-door policy and even include a Energy value stating they encourage to provide feedback. Unfortunately when you do so, you will be retaliated against and pushed out of the company, by no longer being added to projects with visibility, being ignored by leadership, or in some cases provided a surprising negative review after years of being a "Role-Model". Another major concern is the placement of leaders who lack the necessary knowledge and skillsets for their roles, but who have been promoted based on personal friendships rather than merit. This has resulted in ineffective decision-making and has further eroded trust within the organization. Employees with the potential to make impactful contributions are overlooked, while unqualified individuals are placed in key roles simply due to their connections. It is possible to reach the $1B goal while still maintaining a positive employee experience, but that requires leadership to genuinely care about their people and not just the bottom line. Customers have also started to notice the increasing turnover, and many are voicing concerns about no longer receiving the incredible customer experience that once set Bullhorn apart.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and feedback. I agree that it's possible to build and grow our company while maintaining our strong, positive employee experience. The leadership teams and I are personally committed to doing so. I also understand that you feel as though your experience here did not reflect that. Both these things can be true and I'm sorry that you left feeling like this. I welcome any employee to have a 1:1 conversation with me so that I can hear their concerns/feedback and show them that I care about their experience with real action. I have taken action many times if I find that an employee or leader here is not living our core values. We don't shy away from addressing things that can be improved. But the same expectation goes back to our employees. If you cannot live our core values, then we're going to have a tough conversation. We're all ears for constructive feedback. And rejecting feedback that is given in a toxic and unproductive manner certainly does not mean we are gaslighting our employees when they speak up. We ask for feedback twice per year through our formal surveys. We read, review and respond in great detail to these results because we care about the health of our culture. We also welcome informal conversations at any time to address things in real time. Unfortunately, I don’t recall having the opportunity to speak to you about your frustrations. Our belief is that employees should be fulfilled & excited in their roles, and when an employee isn't happy, doesn't like or agree with a change that is occurring, or finds the level of stress to be too much, that they should look for a new job. We do all we can to help solve challenges and don’t shy away from fixing things that are broken. But there are also times where it is perfectly okay to acknowledge that the fit between an employee and the company doesn't work anymore. I would much rather have that mature conversation, and help an employee transition than I would and try to jam a round peg into a square hole. That benefits no one. Life is much too short to wake up stressed every day and dreading work - there are plenty of great companies out there to work for. Ours is one of them. Maybe not for everyone, and maybe not forever. And that's okay. I hope your next role is a great one for you - should you ever want to talk to discuss your personal experience, you know where to find me! - Kelley Morse, CPO
