      Great community feel, danger of loosing it in some teams

      Community of the office, opportunities from day 1, supportive atmosphere

      Cons

      It can feel like only junior staff and top staff are on the same page and a lot of middle management don't care too much about investing in change. an example would be inclusion and diversity. I get the feeling that BuroHappold is trying to make a large effort in this area, but when directors and other middle management aren't buying in to it and all talks are attended by 80% business services staff and very few engineering staff, it will take a long time. At the end of the day, junior staff spend their first few years interacting mostly with their team not the wider business community, so make sure first impressions reflect that of the companies ethos

      Hi there, thanks for taking the time to leave a review and really positive to hear you feel supported in the environment. Inclusivity and diversity (I&D) is actively promoted at every level in the business and as you’ve mentioned, we host talks, attend events and we’re involved in supporting local community groups to play our part in I & D. All employees are actively encouraged to engage in our I&D activities and we respect that for some this may require more support or take longer to do. Through including our I&D ambitions into personal objectives we will continue to introduce concepts and ways of working to create a more inclusive workplace for all in ways everyone can support.

      Young dynamic company Opportunity to work on variety of projects rather than pigeonholed Generally good work life balance in my experience

      Not convinced salary is competitive

Our salary is reviewed yearly and we believe our remuneration is fair. We benchmark to market, and offer many great benefits as well as opportunities for people to manage their careers with a focus on continuous learning.
