This place is hellish at best. I'm surprised the building doesn't collapse under the weight of the partners ego's.
Pros
Healthcare, great party scene with lots of drinking encouraged. Working on prestigious projects with global reach. Being an ex-pat is a plus.
Cons
They cycle through GC's (amongst other staff) it makes it impossible to keep things organized. They seem to fire the most experienced whenever possible. There is no real clear leader of the office. I think we had an office manager at one point who knew what she was doing, can't have that, they made her redundant. The NY office hasn't decent person in HR since their Administrator quit in 2011. She was the only one that did what she said she would, and seemed to know HR. The past 5 years has been hit or miss. You may get the information, you may not. Start an inquiry with one HR person and they seem to leave before it is complete. Engineers are worked to the bone. BH get their pound of flesh, if you complain, you are gone not soon after.
