Pros

Generally don't get any "bad" customers. Coworkers are generally friendly and helpful. Good products (which isn't really a pro of working there, but it is nice to be able to pick up a fresh made sandwich from the deli on lunch breaks and promote the store's deli & bakery to customers with confidence.) Starting pay is pretty fair. They offer a lot of opportunities for advancement within the company.

Cons

Everything is overpriced and the employee discount doesn't do much. They have a bad habit of ignoring hours and availability which is frustrating as a part-time employee who goes to school. Corporate always finds something to complain about even if you go above and beyond at your job. Hardly any training is given and then you're expected to perform at 100% on your own after 1-2 days.
