Pros

The work is generally not too difficult. There is good morale within the departments (mine anyway). The customers are usually pleasant.

Cons

If you consider yourself a good worker, I would avoid this company if you can. There are better things out there where you will be appreciated more. Sometimes it makes me wonder why I put in so much effort when they won't appreciate you no matter what. They just have unrealistic expectations, where even if they see you're working hard, they'll ask why you didn't get more done. When I say "they", I mean the HR people who sit in an office all day and don't know what's going on within the stores. It seems like we work harder to please them rather than the customers, which shouldn't be the case. I'm not saying that they should never correct people, but there's a way of saying things.

Pros

Chance to make a decent salary if your lucky enough to be around for a while and get the right store.

Cons

It's corporate America now and as a company they represent it. No tools or hours for success ask any employee from cashier to management and they'll say the same.

Pros

Awesome coworkers Most employees are very friendly Most customers are great Flexible hours if you're part time Good health insurance if you're lucky enough to get a full time position

Cons

Employees aren't shown much appreciation, the management are the one's who benefit from all our hard work. Not much room for advancement. They say they like to promote within the company, but usually end up bringing in outside people. Not many hours given. Don't expect to get a full time job here unless you're a manager.
