      - a company-wide commitment to personal development and healthy lifestyle

      Cons

      - a constant barrage of reminders that you are not like their ideal employee profile - even though they are a growing company, they cannot let go of running it like the small firm it once was 5 + years ago

      Pros

      At Businessolver we use the word Empathy, you will see in many reviews here the word is part of the fabric of who we are. I have never seen this resonated more than during this Covid pandemic. The best way for me to describe this is to share my personal story. My wife has been furloughed from her company(not BSC). This company gave the news after hours were due to be turned in and this is important as we were making a choice whether or not to use the PTO time she had accrued to fill in hours before the furlough. We decided to wait so we could save up those hours: 3 hours later my wife was furloughed and told no PTO would be allowed to be used. This was awful. What does BSC do? Jon Shanahan fights to ensure we have our incentives paid. BSC ensures every employee could work from home, keeping them employed. There has been a judicious look at the budget and where money can be saved. People however have not been part of that equation. Jon cares. Rae cares. Marcy whom you see answering on here cares! I am all in with BSC and they proved to me they are all in for me. If you want to Level Up - come join us!

      Cons

      We do always have areas to improve. When you join the team be ready to work hard and give what you have for our clients. With any company we have areas to improve, I know our intention is to learn from our mistakes.

      Thank you for your feedback. The current climate has certainly brought hardship like you mentioned your wife is experiencing with her job, which I am so sorry has happened. We have also had the opportunity to see people rise up and put empathy into action. I am constantly blown away by the love and care our employees have for each other. It's authentic and driven by THEM/YOU. Thanks for all you do and stay safe.

      Run away as fast as you can!

      Pros

      The company spends a lot of time and resources on training but the training is not focused or well organized for how the organization actually works.

      Cons

      I knew within 6 weeks of starting that I had made a bad career decision. The company is extremely understaffed and the COL roll was the dumping group for work that others across the company. The final straw was when the bonus eligibility that I had negotiated as a part of my offer was taken away significantly changing my earning potential. Out of 20+ people in my onboarding class less than half made it to their one year anniversary. This was a class filled with seasoned bene admin professionals that understand the demands of the industry but could not tolerate the dysfunction at Businessolver.
