Amazing Internship!

Pros

At Bustle, I got the chance to work on so many different projects. I wrote and reported articles, filmed social media videos, curated posts for the app, and attended tons of different events. The staff works hard to make sure that your internship experience is positive, educational, and challenging. There was not a lot of down time in my internship, but everything I got to do was so much fun. My writing skills also improved immensely with the help of all of the editors on staff. Everyone at Bustle is super nice and works hard to make sure that you feel welcome. It was such a dream to work in this office. I would recommend this internship to anyone I know looking for an editorial internship.

Cons

You have to work at the New York office to intern for Bustle. While it's an incredible experience, New York is not cheap. Bustle does pay $11/hour, but the cost of living can be stressful at times.

Pros

Flexible, considerate, understanding, remote work, friendly

Cons

SEO headlines restrict what you can write. Pay is low for the amount of work required.
