C-A-L Ranch has always been a cool store and has a lot of great products and it's a fun place to work for the most part.

Cons

Top management of the company seems to be very disconnected and opinionated. Their ways is the high way, regardless of how obvious it is that it's not the best route for the company as whole. Most employees compensation is mediocre.

Pros

Great people to work with (employees). It had a great ranch store environment.

Cons

Lost that ranch store environment more of a clothing store now. Is much more concerned with the bottom line than their highly underpaid employees. No longer serves the real ranch community. Would hire poorly knowledgeable employees to pay them less and get rid of better longer employees that get above their $9.00 per hour max. Open on New Years and soon to be open on Easter. A yes sir environment is preferred over positive input. Manager in the Cedar City Store never comes out of his office and talks with ranchers. I get a feeling he knows less about ranch products than his cashiers.
