      Challenging yet Rewarding

      Pros

      Never monotonous! With a typical 3:1 ratio of students and each student typically working on different material, it will be a mental stimulation! Rewarding to see so many students realize that the hard work they put in will show later, thanks to centers, tutors and the skills/confidence they develop. 401k plan with match, competitive benefits vary depending on situation. Center / regional directors are very adept at listening to what you may need and communication is key.

      Cons

      There can be some students tougher than others, or classes that drag on because there can be limited personality - trying to crack those to open them up and make them realize school isn't everything will be helpful. Company is working on concrete system of raises / progression. Evening hours during all times but summer - didn't enjoy working split weekend (fri and sun off).

      -Work is rewarding and the kids are awesome -Scheduling flexibility is expected but also given to employees -Overall, employees are qualified, professional and kind individuals -Great transitional work

      Cons

      -Difficult to get enough hours to live on -very high turnover, so it's hard to make friends with colleagues -wages for tutors are not high enough--often feels as if you're disposable
