Pays a bit better than some comparable tutoring companies Most of the students are well motivated

Cons

Inconsistent hours, including last-minute cancellations Expected to work through unpaid lunches Not enough prep time Tutoring 3 students at a time can be very difficult The culture is very authoritarian They make unrealistic promises to parents/students and then blame tutors for failing to deliver No room for growth (unless you're Korean)

It really is about politics and appeasing clients. Education is the last thing that comes to mind.
