Pros

This is a great place to transition to if you are a Junior Enlisted. It is a perfect diving board into defense contracting, as you will work in a familiar Army culture.

Cons

Take heed, though, if you do not fit this profile. The work and corporate culture is not agile in dealing with diversity. Productive work conversations need to wait their turn behind disproportionally drawn-out chats, that are innocuous at best but trash talk at worst, reflecting the all-on or all-off enlisted culture of the army. This level of none-productive time off is very much viewed as inappropriate in mainstream corporate culture. The recently released CACI Flexible Time Off (FTO) leave policy, is a double-edged sword. On one hand one can take vacation time before it accrues, but there is some implied ceiling and if you breach the temporal FTO glide pattern, you will be let go after a PIP precursor, in the guise of improvement.

Pros

* Make your own schedule. * Great team in Phoenix to work with

Cons

* Lead in Phoenix is manipulative and passes the blame on to everyone around him to include the Regional Manager. He will talk poorly about leadership to try and get in with investigators. * Blindly put in standards that are unattainable and then randomly change things to make it to where you can make metrics but never implement it entirely so that you're always chasing a carrot. * The company lacks the ability to realize that each case is independent and unique thus treating them all the same. I have been asked to lie by my supervisor as to not end up on a list that might make him look bad. They retaliate against you if you do not lie. * Managers send out emails talking poorly about previous managers and about how they are looking to fire the other managers. They send out emails speaking poorly of the previous managers asking Investigators to notify them if the former reaches out.

Pros

Fair pay Good working environment Great opportunities and options for advancement/movement Its a large company, so they offer competitive wages upon hiring, and they have a lot of jobs out there, should you want to move up/around in the company, or if your contract is ended. They also do seem to try to find jobs for employees who lose their contracts if they have been with the company for a while, which can't be said for a lot of contracting companies out there (the larger ones often times don't care, and the smaller ones don't have enough contracts for this to be possible).

Cons

They frequently send out emails and surveys acting like they care about you and your life, but never really do anything to stand by it. They hire you at competitive salaries, but they aren't great about giving raises that keep up with inflation, so the longer you work for them (without changing roles) the lower your standard of living becomes comparatively. Their benefits package is significantly more expensive than a lot of smaller companies, but is relatively reasonable compared to similar sized companies. Looking at their holiday structure, I think it's odd, and possibly says something about their overwhelmingly white & male leadership, that, two years after it became a federal holiday, they still haven't added a paid holiday for Juneteenth.
