Terrible Experience

Pros

The ability to work remotely was a great benefit.

Cons

Where to begin. The salary was below industry standards for similar roles. Have to use PTO to cover holidays. The company lacked enough project resources to adequately handle a new client onboarding. Upper management agreed to move forward with a project without having a signed or otherwise agreed to SOW, however, management did not alert the project teams to move forward so there was a delay after kick off which soured the client. Lack of managerial support or internal project team support. Lack of understanding how to engage new clients and begin, manage a project really made the job of project manager impossible to pull off. Scheduled one on ones with my immediate manager and he skipped out on them for five months straight.

A Horrible Company

Pros

It's a paycheck but not much else.

Cons

The company will bend the rules to do what is best for the company and the family with no regard for ethics.

Pros

Best reason to work here used to be the people. CAI used to have a great Autism employment program that helped people, but they quietly laid everyone off because it's not cool to be "woke" anymore.

Cons

Trust between the executive leadership team and employees has never been worse. The best people have been released (with a terrible severance package) or left the company and the rest are spending 90% of their day looking for a new job. They've hired a new CFO to "clean house" and they're rolling heads across the board. Top performers are at risk, if you don't play politics constantly you're toast.
