Pros

- Fun work environment - Great co workers

Cons

- Management in local markets has unchecked power. - Was promised food once a week on the Hub's dime, only got it once a month at the meeting where they "layed down the law." - They promote people who suck up to Team Leads, not based on performance. - They give you more work than you can perform in an 8hr day and penalize you if you don't punch out on time by switching your days off, cutting your hours, and sending out slack message to the HUB naming you directly. - Team Leads are free to make their own rules for HUB'S that are outside of Carvana's employee handbook guidelines. - The culture and values that I was sold when I went to HQ in Tempe, were not there when I arrived at my local HUB. It was as if I was working in retail.

Long work hours hectic work they keep hiring new people instead of focusing on ones they have low pay for the amount of work you do no work/social life balance no opportunity to grow in markets they won't back you up if you get in trouble

Pros

Coffee, snacks, coworkers are cool.

Piss-poor management, you are trained by literally 5 people which all give you different points of view on training. You are overwhelmed with information, then thrown out on the floor to take calls. Some employees left during training due to the pressure they put on you. If you don't certify, you're fired. They do NOT care about customer service. I was constantly complimented by customers, but their goal is pushing employees to have customers purchase a vehicle no matter what. And here they brag about not being "pushy salesman". Same tactics, with a new face. But once you do get on the floor, the same people who trained you act like you don't exist. Next, There is a LOT of belittling. Anyone with a higher title is very prideful and looks down upon new employees. The trainers curse during training, so there is a lack of respect from the start. If you are told you are hired, simply put, you are NOT hired. You must "certify" a few times for the position, of which you can get terminated at each certification. There is a lot of technical issues and various system you must learn. Do yourself a favor and pass on it.
