      Pros

      The company has a wide range on interesting projects and opportunities. Although still very reliant on small business contracts, the company has recently seen success in winning multiple contracts and contract vehicles to provide more stable long-term growth. The benefits are good relative to other companies in town. There are many different events, lunches and seminars which make it a pretty fun workplace. Management seems to be making a genuine effort to ensure employees are appreciated and content.

      Mostly reliant on government funding.

      Pros

      The employees here are all very diverse and have diverse skill sets. One of the biggest things for me is that everyone is treated with respect and their opinion and voice are valued no matter their gender/race/religion/education/etc. The company is growing and it's cool to be a part of that but still small enough so you're not lost in a sea of people. If there is something you are passionate about, you are encouraged to speak up and typically managers will work to find a way to get you involved or encourage you to submit a proposal. There's no micromanagement.

      Cons

      Starting PPL is 14.5 days instead of a full 15. However, you do get an increase after just 2 years.

      Thanks for the review - it is a strange "number" to start at and is an example of what happens when a bunch of computational engineers look at data to set up our PPL schedule! In all seriousness, we do increase it quickly (to another odd number) and work a flexible schedule that includes core hours that allows you to work the schedule that fits your lifestyle!
