      wanted lots of hours because you're a "family"

      Pros

      interesting industry, sometime challenging work that mattered.

      Cons

      Bad manager who was also difficult to work with was kept on even after numerous co-workers complained about him. CEO loved to say we were all a family then made us sacrifice our actual families from forcing stupid hours.

      The company offers excellent benefits and salary. A personal development plan is established for individuals each year to help achieve goals for bonus incentives. Field based position with travel to on-site facilities or corporate offices for meetings. Access to many levels of operations and corporate management to additional exposure to the business.

      Cons

      Too focused on the now and not the long term. A lot of push back when changes are needed.
