Poor work experience wrapped up in glitter
Pros
Swag. Road shows. Conversations about feelings, if that is your thing.
Cons
This company spends so much time trying to sell their culture that it is a brainwashing experience. If they would focus on getting processes in place and following the right procedures, they could succeed. Instead, 70% of their day is spent TALKING about great culture (not creating a great culture), 20% of their day is TALKING about people, and 10% of the day is spent doing the work or helping their people. There are always activities going on to distract you from realizing the brainwashing affects. They talk so much about their culture, they hand out swag to bribe you, but they don't help their employees advance in their careers nor do they even care about their careers. Management can't make decisions. They tell you one thing in a meeting, then they talk to their boss and have to come back to tell you to do something differently. Then you do it, and they come back and say someone else said to do it differently. They do not teach you. They do not empower you. If you're looking for swag and rah rah chants, without any personal growth, this might be the place for you. Management spends a lot of time judging people and talking poorly about people, yet they don't provide the coaching and tools to help them improve.
