Management has zero idea what is actually going on. They have no problem assuming that crew members and crew leaders responsibilities are minuscule and easily accomplished in very little time. They will tell you that you need to produce better quality finished products, but at the same time schedule you less time to complete these tasks and continually ask more and more of you. When you voice your concern about failing quality standards management has very little problem telling you that because their spouse works in an unrelated construction field, they feel that you are not working hard or fast enough. This leads to a very unfriendly work environment. They will pit crew leaders against other crew leaders as a leadership tactic to get more work done in less time. Staff will avoid Client interaction which leads to very unhappy customers which are then handled by a worker in the field, who then has to explain why/how customer service can be so bad. they will bend the rules set forth by program guidelines to better themselves at the risk of putting clients/workers in unsafe environments, which causes jobs to fail inspection by the utility provider. When these jobs fail they will point the finger at the crew members for being "Lazy and irresponsible" all while knowing they gave you very little time to complete the job before sending you on to the next job to start the process all over again. As far as career opportunities go, they will always tell you that there is room to grow and move up through the company. This is simply untrue! This company is already top heavy with poor management so the claims of growth only last as long as they need you to perform more work in less time. Management will stand over employees in an attempt to be "friendly and personal" but only belittle the employee in the long run. In short if you need money and don't mind having very little pride at the end of each work day this may be the place for you
