      Pros

      the people i work in close proximity to are great and that keeps me coming in everyday, benefits are reasonable

      Cons

      Even though there have been some improvements and it will take time, morale is low and most people feel uninformed, overworked and underpaid. Supporting directors and managers are trying their best to stay positive, keep their teams informed, and boost morale, but it isn't working because the fun has left the building due to the morale being so low; people are burnt out. The company provided a solution and gave better time off packages, which has been appreciated and helpful, but trying to take a day off can be a hassle due to the workload increase. There has been many changes that everyone has been adjusting to over the last two years: lay-offs, re-structuring policies, regionalization, "raises", and poor communication.

      Overly-Territorial Internal Culture

      Entry-level pay for writers wasn't bad, but this decent salary right out of college still didn't keep me from quitting.

      Cons

      Disclaimer: it's been over a year since I worked there, and I've heard they've hired some new upper management, but all that to say, here's my experience. Not a whole lot of on-boarding for new hires, overly-territorial and gossipy vibes in the marketing department. The Creative Department basically thought they were starring in Mad Men, when in reality we were selling furnace rebates. Everyone obviously sucks up to upper management. OBVIOUS. They need a huge overhaul of this passive-aggressive company culture. It was hella annoying.
