      Pros

      Important industry to fight climate change, generally smart people who want to make a difference work here

      Cons

      Very behind the curve on technology and business systems, multiple acquisitions during 2014-2015 that grew the company from 300 to 3,000 people really took the wind out of the sails, the company is currently digging itself out of a hole from these acquisitions and thus is delaying any innovative investment for the indefinite future.

      Run, Forrest, Run

      Pros

      The company band is respectable.

      Cons

      Exceptionally poor communications. Spotty systems. Executive leadership that only looks out for themselves. An Austin-centric culture that values time of service over talent. The last cuts represented a significant talent drain. I have been asked by a number potential candidates who wanted a view of the company and I have always told them the same thing: Run, Forrest, Run. Yes, there is a new CEO but the same leadership team is in place so don't expect much in order of changes.

      Going Downhill Fast

      Pros

      Remnants of the old legacy CLEAResult still exist but are fading fast. The culture was positive and helpful. We enjoyed our work and enjoyed doing good things for each other and the world.

      Cons

      The advertised growth is not internal. It's from buying companies. The big acquisitions tore the original company apart. Now its just a job for most people. No bonus last year or the year before, and none in site for the near future. Layoffs happen every week with no clue who will be hit next. Those not being laid off are leaving on their own. Will the last one out please remember to turn off the lights to save some energy.
