Pros

The most interesting thing to me, especially because I have family all over the country, is that you can transfer to other sites. My orientation person told me that he’s worked in Arizona and I think Texas. He was also passionate about a lot the company had to offer. He wasn’t lying. A lot of jobs will tell you this and that bout what the job will offer you and isn’t always true. But not cops. I’m not there enough yet to get some of the benefits but allot of workers there get them and love them. Pay is good. I wanted to apply in the past but the pay used to suck. Now I can live comfortably with my roommate and their income.

Cons

Attendance policy is strict and dress code is too. The attendance policy makes sense tho because of what we do. Dress code doesn’t rally make sense because we don’t see customers face to face.

Pros

If you are dedicated and reliable, you will move up quickly. Managers and Supervisors are all former dispatchers, so they know the business.

Cons

Low salary Benefits are nice if single, but insufficient if married with a kid Job is boring: non-stop alarm handling calls for 8 hours.

Pros

They have the potential to be a good company. Need to work on keeping good people.

Cons

The alarm activity is out of control. We were so busy and understaffed that you actually get discouraged from getting away from your desk for any reason including bathroom breaks. This may be tolerable if the pay waas right. We are way under paid for the cost of living here. The supervisors are ok but very young and inexperienced. I would not recommend this if you are looking for a long term career.
