Pros

I started with cops a few months ago and I really like it here so far. I had never worked in a call center type job before so I was a little apprehensive but its actually a good company to work for. I was so excited they raised all of our pay a few weeks ago and we're starting at 12 and can make 14 in a year or so depending on how we do on our evals. It makes life so much easier for me and I'm sure others feel the same. Oh the benefits here are great too!! I didn't receive any med or dental insurance at my previous jobs so I was pleasantly surprised by how good the coverage is here and that they pay for alot of the cost of them. The company is really hands on with training and their approach with management so its kinda easy to move through the levels and have questions answered. I don't plan on going anywhere any time soon

Cons

Points can be kinda strict if you call out or are late alot but its to be expected since you're dealing with potential serious emergency calls.

Pros

Welcoming environment. The entirety of management is very friendly. They're also supportive and do everything in their power to steer you in the right direction with your customer service and skills. They want you to suceed. I got to meet some supervisors from new jersey and they were just as friendly as well as dedicated to providing guidance. It feels like the culture is consistent because of this. They just gave dispatchers a nice raise here at the maryland branch that starts in august!!! Feels like this company continues to give and give to its employees. From benefits to bonuses for good attendance. And i can even sign up for a gym and get my monthly membership paid for!

Cons

Sometimes customers are rude. There used to be a few employees who were very unappreciative that I've had the displeasure of sitting next to. Management would try to help steer them in the right direction, but you can't change a zebras stripes. Those people are gone now so the plus side is the company will not keep those who are weighing down the environment.
