Pros

The people at Critical Start are among the most knowledgeable in their individual areas of expertise. Everyday you will learn a new way to think about or approach a problem. The work is challenging as it is a fast growing organization. The unified goal of being customer obsessed is consistently displayed in how everyone conducts their day to day operations.

Cons

This organization is growing rapidly, so all employees are challenged to deliver above and beyond what most organizations would see as acceptable work.

Pros

Great team, great product, overall great enthusiasm. Super impressive security team, with growth plans in place.

Cons

Rest of the org was impacted by typical PE firm changes. Not enough revenue = changes at the top levels, followed by the new ELT bringing in their own people so lots of job insecurity.

We appreciate you sharing your perspective on working at CRITICALSTART. It's great to hear positive feedback about the team, product, and security capabilities. However, we understand the challenges that can come with changes under private equity ownership. We will continue working to maintain a stable, motivating environment for all our employees as the company grows.

Pros

CRO and VPs excel at meaningless corporate buzzwords.

Cons

It’s clear that sales management has never worked or managed deals the size this company does and they aren’t shy about having a temper tantrum because they do not understand enterprise sales. Sales management are dashboard jockies, which in an organization with 60+ sales reps is ok but the team is too small for that which leads them to be unable to collaborate or guide sales reps to success. This leads them to be nasty to reps. If you are a high performing enterprise sales rep and interested in taking the next steps in your career, consider a different company with more mature and experienced sales leadership.
