Pros

It is a great place to work, offering a flexible work policy that allows employees to work both remotely and from the office, helping to maintain a healthy work–life balance. The company also provides non-CTC benefits that support employees beyond compensation and contribute positively to their overall well-being and professional growth.

Cons

The main drawback of the company, is the mid-level management at the Pune office. Managers are often unfair and biased, providing support only to their preferred employees. Even when concerns about partiality are raised and clearly explained, management tends to label the individual as less productive or at fault. Overall, there is a lack of openness to feedback, and favouritism is common. Additionally, management does not encourage employees to grow beyond them in skill level; those who demonstrate higher capability are often discouraged, blocked, or turned down.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We truly value employees who take the time to express their experiences, as it helps us continue strengthening our workplace. At Critical Start, we believe strongly that employees enable each other; collaboration, mutual respect, and shared accountability. We are proud to foster a flexible environment and benefits structure that supports employee well-being while also maintaining a high-performance culture where meaningful contributions and productivity are recognized and valued. We understand that experiences with managers and growth opportunities can sometimes feel different from person to person. Our expectation across the organization is that leaders act with fairness, transparency, and objectivity while supporting team members in developing their skills and advancing based on demonstrated performance, ownership, and impact. We also recognize that growth requires active engagement from both employees and managers, and we continuously work to strengthen that partnership. We encourage open dialogue and provide multiple internal channels including HR, Skip-level discussions, and Engagement forums where employees can safely raise concerns, seek clarity, and receive support. Constructive feedback will help us improve leadership capability and ensure a positive, performance-oriented environment for everyone. We appreciate your perspective and remain committed to building a culture where people support each other, grow together, and succeed through collaboration and accountability.

Pros

- Good company culture and supportive leadership — people often call it collaborative, open, and friendly. - Work-life balance is frequently praised: flexibility (including hybrid/remote options) and reasonable workloads are noted as advantages. - The company seems to offer opportunities for learning and professional growth, with training, certifications, and meaningful projects especially in cybersecurity, which many find intellectually rewarding.

Cons

Compensation may feel below expectations increments could be better, especially given the expectations or workload Workload and pace can be demanding, especially when the company is growing fast; that pressure can make the work stressful at times and poor onboarding for new employees
