Pros

Amazing co-workers, days go by fast, good pay.

Cons

Not enough volunteer work offered, expectations of work load, constant changes, supervisors don’t fight for you to continue working they don’t care if you get fired. Extremely high turnover rate and no strategy of hiring enough people. No one owns up to their mistakes. Disorganized. Politics.

Pros

CSAA is a good company with many great people. Benefits and pay are great. There are currently too many people within the IT department though, mostly due to large programs ending that have caused some negative impacts. There is a new remodel of the office in Glendale with adjustable desks that are a major positive. Work/life balance is also a pro - although they could increase worker output if they work on engagement and encourage more improvement work.

Cons

The culture of IT was toxic when I left. They have fired a few executives that will help improve, but really need to go through a few more. Some Executives belittle employees, as well as Managers. Large projects are mismanaged, and there are too many people right now for the amount of work that exists. It’s a small company that has a massive IT population. I’m hopeful that some of the changes taking place will correct the culture and improve engagement, as there are skilled people there, just misguided/misled. They may be able to reduce their management layer as well by a good 20-30%. It isn’t the best place to work in the valley within IT. I think back in 2010 it may have been, but it certainly isn’t anymore.

Pros

the pay is good i guess

Cons

lack of experience in supervisors it is a "who you know" enviroment not a "what you know" expect to be told what you did wrong but not what can be done to correct the action unrealistic time frames for improvement managers with little to no people skills managers concerned with themselves more than their teams no room for real advancement they claim to value work life balance but you can never get time off
