Cons

VP was a narcissist. Plays favorites openly and will shut you down if you show any hints of being a threat. Endorsed professional certifications even if the staff clearly didn’t have the required experience. The company talks a lot about diversity but never lives up to it. Ineptitude and cluelessness is the norm. I’ve always been told I was just average even if I’ve saved their skins many times due to the high attrition rate of staff. Management thinks they are invincible and run their departments out of fear and intimidation. I wonder how they landed their jobs in the first place. Never ending reorgs and lay offs. Before HR responds to this post, let me clarify that I’ve written to them about this during my exit interview. I even furnished the CFO with a copy. Chirp chirp, heard nothing, so don’t respond with the typical “we don’t tolerate this kind of behavior...” spiel. For once, do something.

We are saddened to hear that you feel this way considering how much we value all employees. We work hard to ensure that there is no favoritism and that people are measured based on effort and results. We welcome your feedback even though we may disagree with some of the points you have made here.

Pros

Ok workplace, laid back. Nothing really interesting. You can work on real insurance systems.

Cons

Top leadership and executive level and above is not so great.

Pros

• Work/Life Balance is ok.

Cons

• Lack of transparency from leadership (CEO, VPs, managers, etc.) • Very unsupportive manager, lacks strategy skills, people skills, and has no clue what's going on. (Don't know how this person became a senior manager) • Manager only points out the negatives. "HORRIBLE" (in Donald trump voice) • No trust within company • If something goes wrong, you get blamed. • No Innovation, everything you create dies, and never ever ever gets launched. • Reverse franchise model, where the partner clubs dictate what you can do or can't do. • If you can handled being treated poorly by team members, talked down to, or want to be yelled at in a rude manner, then work here. • Horrible food in the cafeteria, it's like eating out of a dumpster. Where do they find these horrible chefs?? • Poor pay, low balling, compared to other companies in the Bay Area for similar position.
