      Pros

      Its a job and paycheck in this diffifcult economy

      Cons

      Horrible management in SF main office; lack of direction for the organization, silos with no communciation or collaboration between silos, lots of change with poor planning and implementation - I have yet to see them impelment a new system or process with success.

      Pros

      Great brand - great employees at the face to face level

      Cons

      Management is schizophrenic - to many divisions with competing interests that affect the day to day decisons (i.e. huge down payments to rewrite cancelled policies vs a demand for retention and customer warmth.) Senior Management is totally out of touch with the reality of the wreckage thier decisions have caused at the customer facing level. Key software systems chosen by senior management make serving customers a nonstop nightmare.

      Pros

      The work/life balance is really supported in some groups. I have heard some groups have no balance...but overall, they seem to be OK with vacations and time off for other personal issues.

      Cons

      The infrastructure is way behind and CSAA is constantly playing catchup. Everything from facilities to software are behind.
