Pros

Benefits are OK, work from home policy is flexible

Cons

It's completely obvious to everyone that the senior director of IT for CLS got a huge financial kickback for bringing salesforce to CSC. What's worse, he has cronies that do nothing but espouse the virtues of salesforce while ignoring all valid questions, criticisms, and security concerns. Talking to the guy with the tight pants is like talking to a brick wall, only less smart.

Pros

The software is great with many loyal customers.

Cons

Poor management is the issue. Releases are not planned and work load is heavy ALL year. Be prepared to work 7 days a week - including holidays! Money is the bottom line, not employees or customers. Poor communication within the executive committee trickles down and causes all the extra man hours.

Pros

None. At first I thought my manager genuinely cared. I was have panic attacks and sharing. They kept saying “this is the hardest job in the company, give yourself grace” Well a few months later, after being open everyday, I took a leave and I felt good about it. I felt like my manager had my back.

Cons

Being honest about my mental struggle. Cost me my job. Well, she didn’t. I was in consistent contact with my HR, as one does in short term disability leave. My manager reached out once via email through the entire leave. It was a week before my return and they stated the wants to catch up. Our catch up was two day after my leave ended. I hopped on the call, saw another rep. And I was then terminated because my absence was a “hardship” on the team. I asked if I could be transfer, which was offered once prior to leave. They repeated themselves and let me go on the 29th. There were 30days that month, I emailed my hr rep whom I talked to about my return a week prior and asked about insury. “Oh that ends at the end of the month” I replied “tomorrow?”? They said yes. I had an in person doctor’s appointment on the 2nd. Had to cancel. Had to get off most my meds. Unemployment sided with CSC. I have had so much extra mental distress since. Words can’t explain, I lost everything because I needed that time and still do to better myself.
