Talented employees but lack of leadership

* Lots of talented employees * Many clients from whom you can learn about their business niches * Some interesting assignments

Cons

* Leadership is out of touch * "Elitist" attitude by some upper management / executives * CSC values are not demonstrated; managment talks the talk but can't walk the walk * Inconsistent deployment of critical policies / practices, including those that are supposed to protect employees * Human Resources seriously lacking with regard to practices and follow-up

Pros

The rank and file are very friendly and generally want to work with you, and there are some interesting technologies to explore. Very deep client base and interesting business lines.

Cons

Capricious and out of touch management that is incapable of giving useful feedback. People with poor work ethics seem to get rewarded and people who merely want to come in and do their jobs well are penalized. You never know where you stand with this company, many have been terminated for no cause with no notice and no severance. This company violates any type of unspoken social agreement, they want two weeks notice from you should you decide to move on but rarely offers it in return.
